English Evening Tuesday, March 5th in Bar 100 Montaditos  y Calle 17

Hey, guys, we continue with our English Evenings on Tuesday. Due to the football match we will start in Bar 100 montaditos(just opposite of Calle 17 bar) and then after the match(around 23) we will move to Calle 17. We are going to have a good time talking in English and there will be games and fun

How was the EE at February 26th?

Hi everybody!

the last day we had to change the place because calle 17 was crowded due to football match. We were in "cerveceria 100 montaditos" where we could have dinner while we talked in English. After dinner we all went to “calle 17” where we could continue our English conversations . As Always this was a great night!!, we thank all the participants for coming and we hope to see you in the next meeting.

NEXT English Evening in Calle 17. February 26th

On Friday we had a really good time in Gambrinus. We were more people than expected and that was great. The next event will be on Tuesday and we are meeting in Calle 17, next to Gambrinus. 

We’ll have something to drink and keep on improving our English!

Sum up of "Spanish tapas" evening

Last Friday “Spanish Tapas” took place in Gambrinus (Algeciras). A total of 31 participants from 4 Nationalities (Spanish, French, Belgians and Colombian) gathered together in order to speak English and share a selection of some of the most typical Spanish tapas together. 

The event also served to welcome the new Erasmus students coming to Algeciras for the second semester. During the dinner, Spanish young people had the opportunity to share and explain some traditional recipes of the Spanish cooking. 

After the dinner, most of the participants prolonged the night and went for a drink together. 

It was a great international night, we thank all the participants for coming and we encourage those who didn´t to join us in the coming events!

Spanish Tapas on Friday 22th

We want to invite all of you to our event "Spanish tapas" in Algeciras. We will meet on Friday 22th in Gambrinus, in Calle Sevilla.


In this event, we will have a fixed menu (moderate price) with some of the most tipical Spanish Tapas. It will be a nice opportunity to show foreigners and Erasmus participants a bit of the Spanish cooking.

We need to know the number of people in order to book the place and fix the menu. Please, join the event if you are coming. (Those doubting can always join later).

English Evening 19-2-2013

Yesterday we celebrate our second English Evening in Calle 17, and we had a great time with a lot new people. It was some kind of welcome party to the new international students in Algeciras, and we could enjoy with more than 10 foreigners from Belgium, France, Morocco and the UK.

We started at 21:30, and the meeting last until 00:20, when they closed the bar but the pople still wanted something more. So this is a great pre-warming for our amazing Tapas Evening on Friday 22th, where we hope to see you all!!
